:: July 13, 2010 Institutional and Economic Agenda 2010-2011 Together with the inauguration of CADAL's new office, Adrián Lucardi and Ana Bovino offered a presentation of the preliminary results of the Legislative Barometer on "Institutional and Economic Agenda 2010-2011 for Argentina". At the end of the presentation CADAL offered a cocktail in acknowledgment of Adrián Lucardi's work since he will be travelling to United States for his Ph.D. degree.

:: June 10, 2010 Media, politics and democracy The conference "Media, politics and democracy" took place at the Auditorium of Universidad de Bologna in Buenos Aires, with a debate on the book "Political power and media. From political representation to reality show". The speakers were Bernardo Sorj, Hernán Galperín, Fernando Ruiz and Martín Becerra with José María Ghío moderating the debate. The activity was co-organized by Plataforma Democrática, CADAL, Universidad de Bologna and Universidad de San Andrés.

:: June 4, 2010 Inter-American Democratic Forum Before the XL General Assembly of the OAS in Lima, Red Puente Democrático Latinoamericano formed by CADAL, organized at the Gau auditorium of the Peruvian Congress, the first edition of Inter-American Democratic Forum with speakers from Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

:: May 10, 2010 Steps towards democratic opening in Cuba With the participation of Hilda Molina, Patricio Walker and Martín Borrelli, CADAL organized in Buenos Aires, the conference "Steps towards democratic opening in Cuba: freedom of expression and association". In this occassion the book "Antes que amanezca y otros relatos" was presented and the Red Puente Democratico Latinoamericano gave the 2010 Award to Democratic Opening in Cuba to Varela Project.

:: May 7, 2010 Patricio Walker inaugurated the Series with Legislators Within the framework of the Programa of Regional Policial and Economic Analysis, CADAL organized at Salón Montevideo of the Legislature of Buenos Aires City, the first meeting of the Series with Legislators. In this opportunity, the guest speaker was Patricio Walker, Senator of Chile who referred to matters related to democratic governance in Latin America and Chilean politics.

:: May 3, 2010 Jorge Batlle in Montevideo presented a book by Cuban independent journalist and former political prisoner On the International Day of Freedom of Expression, CADAL organized in Montevideo the presentation of the book "Antes que amanezca y otros relatos" (Before daybreak and other stories), by Cuban independent journalist and former political prisoner Jorge Olivera Castillo. The presentation took place at Teatro del Centro "Carlos Eugenio Scheck" and was in charge of Dr. Jorge Batlle, former President of Uruguay (2000-2005).

:: March 25, 2010 Uruguay 2010-2015: race towards development With the participation of guest speakers Darryl Dunn, ambassador of New Zealand, and the journalists Horacio Bafico, Gabriel Pastor and Nelson Fernández, CADAL organized at Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel a new meeting of Foro Latinoamericano Montevideo with the presentation of 2009 edition of the research report “Democracy, Markets and Transparency”.

:: March 18, 2010 A progressive view on the situation of human rights in Cuba With ocassion of the 7th anniversary of the crackdown on disidentes known as "Cuban Black Spring", CADAL organized at the Embassy of Czech Republic in Buenos Aires, the conference "A progressive view on the situtation of human rights in Cuba" with the participation of jurist Daniel Sabsay and wellknown journalist Pepe Eliaschev, who both signed the Declaration "The exercise of righs is no crime" (in the picture with Graciela Fernández Meijide).

:: February 25, 2010 Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires With presentations by Ambassador Darryl John Dunn, Ricardo López Göttig, Marcos Novaro, Carlos Gervasoni, Tristán Rodríguez Loredo and Horacio Reyser, CADAL launched the research report "Democracy, Markets and Transparency 2009" and it was also analyzed the political, economic and business expectations in face of the begining of ordinary sessions of the Federal Congress.

:: January 28, 2010 The state of democracy in Latin America With guest speakers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela, CADAL organized at the Auditorium Héctor Dieguez at Universidad Di Tella, the seminar "The State of Democracy in Latin America". The subjects analyzed where "Institutional quality, democratic governance and freedom of expression facing populism” and “Cuba and the matter of democracy in the 21st century".

:: January 14, 2010 President Mujica: Uruguay from an international perspective With the participation of the journalists Nelson Fernández and Claudio Paolillo as speakers, CADAL organized at boutique Hotel AWA the first Foro Latinoamericano Punta del Este with the objective of analyzing “Mujica as president: Uruguay from an international perspective: The new eastern government: politics and economics 2010-2015".

:: December 10, 2009 Conference on the International Day of Human Rights In order to celebrate the International Day of Human Rights, CADAL organized at the graduates college of Universidad de Belgrano in downtown Buenos Aires, a conference where Andrés Cañizalez and Ricardo Rojas analyzed the situation in Cuba and Venezuela, with comments in charge of Gabriel Palumbo and Gabriel Salvia.

:: November 13, 2009 Foro Latino Global 2009 Framed within the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, CADAL organized at Regal Pacific Hotel Buenos Aires, the 2009 edition of Foro Latino Global. The event was inaugurated by Bogdan Borusewicz, President of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, former disident and member of Solidarity, and then it included the panels: “Democratic governance, institutional quality and economic performance in Central and Eastern Europe, 1989-2009” and “Latin America 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall”.

:: September 30, 2009 Energy policy, business and competitivity in Latin America At Hotel Regal Pacific a new meeting of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires took place. Organized by CADAL in this opportunity the speaker was Raúl Ferro who referred to ''Energy policy, business and competitivity in Latin America''. During his presentation, Ferro referred to the dream of integration of the 90, the models of opening and nationalism in the region with its respective results and tendencies for the sector. Raúl Ferro is Director of Contents Development at Business News Americas and member of CADAL's Advisory Council.

:: September 15, 2009 The new agenda of State reform: the case of Chile Within the area of Democratic Governance, Economics and Institutions, CADAL organized at Regal Pacific Hotel Buenos Aires, the conference "The new agenda of State reform: the cse of Chile" in charge of Jorge Marshall Rivera, Director of Instituto de Políticas Públicas Expansiva and former Minister of Economy of Chile. The activity was intended to a reduced group of participants mainly politicians, consultants and analysts.
