From entrepreneur to businessman

The 23rd edition of Perspectiva magazine is already available with a dossier entitled "From entrepreneur to businessman". Perspectiva called different specialists on the subject to analyze the situation in the region, theyr are: Roberto Villacreses León, analyst and associated researcher of Instituto Ecuatoriano de Economía Política; Jorge Ospina Sardi, editor of LaNota.com from Colombia; José Manuel Restrepo Abondano, dean of Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (Cesa) from Colombia; Daniel Córdova, executive director of  Instituto Invertir from Perú; Nelson Fernández, correspondant in Uruguay of the Argentine paper La Nación; Tomás Páez, professor at Universidad Central de Venezuela; Pedro Vargas Gallo, businessman linked with academia and member of ICP; Ignacio de León, director of Econlex Corporation, LLC from Venezuela; Carlos Varela Acevedo, from Centro de Emprendimiento e Innovación at Universidad del Desarrollo de Chile, and Thomas Hutcheson, Colombian economist.

Besides, in the Latin American section, the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL), presents the 2009 edition of its wellknown report Democracy, markets and transparency; Ambassador of Peru in Colombia analyzes the relationship between both countries, and the research team of Instituto de Ciencia Política analyzes the phenomena of revolutionary protagonic democracy. In Temas&Debates, Bolivian Franco Gamboa analyzes the role of leadership and the power of politics. In Mundo, political scientist Andrés Navas pays attention to the new public management as a means of change. Finally, in Libros, there is a book review to El Palacio de los Sueños, by Ismaíl Kadaré, and Recetas para el sector salud, edited in Chile by Instituto Libertad y Desarrollo.

Perspectiva magazine is edited in Colombia by Instituto de Ciencia Política, with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise from United States of America and the collaboration of a network of institutes in different countries of the region. CADAL represents Perspectiva magazine in Uruguay, being in charge of its presentation, distribution and promotion in that country.
