CADAL condemns Hamas terrorist attack

Everything provoked by the Hamas terrorist attack has our strongest condemnation.

The fierce Hamas attack on Israel exposed the full dimension of terror in deaths, kidnappings, disappearances. Fear, pain and despair.

It seems that a military response from Israel is inevitable in retaliation to the brutality of the aggression. The logic of war locks us once again in a spiral of violence of deaths that are retaliated with new corpses.

CADAL, as a human rights organization committed to the values of international democratic solidarity, adds its voice to the humanitarian organizations that cry out for the lives of those who have been kidnapped by Hamas and for all those who have been trapped in the Gaza Strip.

Although it may sound extemporaneous, there is no other way but to appeal to the global community to find solutions for peace. Without trivializing the seriousness of the conflict with our domestic disputes, once again, events as painful and unprecedented as the attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 and in Argentina the attacks on the AMIA and the Israeli Embassy, give us the opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the principles of life, peace, justice and democracy.
