Elena Newkirk has a degree in Journalism (Universidad del Salvador) and a Master's Degree in Administration and Public Policy (Universidad de San Andres).

She was Press and Communications Analyst at the Ministry of Public Affairs of the Province of Buenos Aires; she worked as a Political Writer and Substitute Editor-in-chief at La Prensa Newspaper, and was Executive Producer to Romina Manguel at America AM1190 Radio Station. Furthermore, she worked as Producer Assistant to Maria O Donnell at Continental AM590 Radio Station, America TV Station and Todo Noticias News Station.
