CADAL attends to the presentation of ''Americas Quarterly'' in Santiago de Chile

On Monday, August 27, the first issue of the magazine ''Americas Quarterly'' was launched in Santiago de Chile. This magazine is published by the Council of Americas and in its first edition it includes a review of the book published by CADAL ''Lula, la izquierda al diván'' by journalist Ceferino Reato. The presentation had former President of Chile, Ricardo Lagos as main speaker and the participation of Christopher Sabatini, ''Americas Quarterly'' editor and Susan Segal, Chairwoman and CEO of the Council of Americas.

On Monday, August 27, the first issue of the magazine "Americas Quarterly" was launched in Santiago de Chile. This magazine is published by the Council of Americas and in its first edition it includes a review of the book published by CADAL "Lula, la izquierda al diván" by journalist Ceferino Reato. The presentation had former President of Chile, Ricardo Lagos as main speaker and the participation of Christopher Sabatini, "Americas Quarterly" editor and Susan Segal, Chairwoman and CEO of the Council of Americas.

The presentation of the first issue of "Americas Quarterly" took place at FLACSO Chile and was organized with the support of this institution as well as, Rockefeller Center Latin American Studies and CIEPLAN. Among the assistants were Ignacio Walker, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of CIEPLAN; José Miguel Vivanco, Director for the Americas at Human Rights Watch; diplomats, journalists and analysts.

Gabriel Salvia, Chairman of CADAL; Ceferino Reato, author of the book "Lula, la izquierda al diván"; Susan Segal, Chairwoman and CEO of the Council of Americas; and Christopher Sabatini, editor of "Americas Quarterly".
