VOLUNTEERING FOR STUDENTS IN ARGENTINA

The objective of CADAL's volunteer program is to give university students in Argentina the opportunity to start their professional development in a civil society organization that promotes human rights and international democratic solidarity, while they continue with their training. Depending on their performance and commitment, volunteers may extend their internship up to 6 months or 1 year, and will also be considered for research scholarships and other potential paid opportunities at CADAL.

Program features

  • Duration: 3 months, extendable to 6 months and 1 year.
  • Dedicated time: 4 hours per day.
  • Modality: remote, with in-person instances.
  • Deadline for sending the documentation: 45 days before the beginning of the volunteer work.

Volunteer Requirements

  • Fulfill the application process in a timely manner.
  • Native Spanish. Advanced English (non-exclusive).
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CADAL's mission and activities.
  • Must be between 18 and 24 years old.

Sending of documentation

The application will be effective from the moment it is sent in full to internships@cadal.org

The documents to be sent are the following:

  • Letter of interest (in Spanish)

    1. Requesting to be considered for the program and indicating the desired starting date.

    2. Detailing how did the applicant find out about the volunteer program at CADAL, motivations to participate, and how this experience will contribute to his or her professional development.

    3. Indicating the project/s of CADAL that are of the applicant’s greater interest.

  • Curriculum Vitae (in English or Spanish)

With CADAL's directors, only with the pre-selected applicants, who will be contacted via e-mail.
