Gabriel Salvia participated in the 19th Forum 2000 in Prague

From 13 to 16 September, the head of CADAL participated in a new edition of Forum 2000, created by Vaclav Havel and held in Prague and other cities in the Czech Republic and Europe. Salvia shared the opening ceremony of the Forum 2000 with Pastor Mario Felix Lleonart, Manuel Cuesta Morua and Jakub Klepal, the latter Executive Director of Forum 2000.

One of the main activities of CADAL’s chairman in Forum 2000 was the giving of the award to the Czech diplomat Frantisek Fleišman, winner of the Award to Committed Diplomacy in Cuba from 2013 to 2014.

Por otra parte, Salvia participó como moderador de un panel sobre las próximas elecciones parlamentarias en Venezuela, el cual tuvo entre sus expositores a Mitzy Capriles de Ledezma, la esposa del Alcalde de Caracas, Antonio Ledezma, quien se encuentra arbitrariamente en prisión.

Gabriel Salvia also met with the philosopher Ivan Havel, Václav Havel's brother, whom he briefed on the activities of the Vaclav Havel Institute of CADAL.

Salvia also visited the Havel Library and met its new manager, Michael Zantovsky, author of a recently published biography of Vaclav Havel.

At the Center for Ibero - American Studies at Charles University, CADAL’s chairman visited its library, donated several books published by the institution and met with its director, Veronika Kaplan.
