The initiative Constitutional Consensus in Cuba

The Constitutional Consensus in Cuba promotes fundamental changes which are driven by and from the project to provide the country with a rule of law and a democratic constitution. The conference, organized by CADAL, was attended by Leonardo Calvo Cárdenas (Arco Progresista de Cuba), Fernando Palacio Mogar (Partido Liberal Nacional Cubano) and Ricardo M. Rojas, author of the book “Elementos de teoría constitucional y una propuesta para Cuba”.

 

With Fernando Palacio Mogar, Ricardo M. Rojas and Leonardo Calvo Cárdenas as guest speakers, the conference on the initiative Constitutional Consensus in Cuba was held at CADAL’s office. The Constitutional Consensus in Cuba promotes fundamental changes which are driven by and from the project to providethe country with arule of law anda democratic constitution.

The meeting started with a video message of Manuel Cuesta Morúa, spokesman of Arco Progresista in Cuba and one of those behind the Constitutional Consensus.

Leonardo Calvo Cárdenas is Vice- presidentof Arco Progresista in Cuba and National Vice-coordinador of the Comité Ciudadanos por la Integración Racial (CIR).

Fernando Palacio Mogar is national coordinator of Partido Liberal Nacional Cubano (PLNC) and the project Aulas Abiertas.

Ricardo M. Rojas is a jurist and autor of the books "Los derechos fundamentales y el orden jurídico en institucional de Cuba" and "Elementos de teoría constitucional y una propuesta para Cuba".
