On Thursday, September 21, CADAL organized at its headquarter a 5 hours seminar on "Economic and institutional reforms in Latin America and Eastern Europe: Successes and failures" intended for university students and recent graduates. The lectures were in charge of Pedro Isern Munné, Director of the Area of Economics and Rule of Law of the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL) and by Fredo Arias King (picture), founder of the academic journal Demokratizatsiya: The Journal of Post-Soviet Democratization (1992) and author of the book "Transiciones: La experiencia de Europa del Este".
