Nicaragua: a dictatorship without end?
Today Nicaragua is a dictatorship led by one of the main leaders of what was once the Sandinista National Liberation Front, Daniel Ortega. In terms of suppression of democratic freedoms and violation of human rights, the current regime is no different from the Somoza family dictatorship. The Fernando Henrique Cardoso Foundation, CADAL and Puentes para el Desarrollo organized this virtual conference with the speakers Monica Baltodano and Enrique Saenz, moderated by Sergio Fausto.
