CADAL takes part in a seminar in Panama

The seminar focused on the economic and political situation in Cuba, Cuban foreign policy and the Future of Cuba and the changes to be considered. Gabriel Salvia took part in the second panel, analyzing the foreign policy of the Cuban dictatorship in Latin America.

Gabriel Salvia, Chairman of CADAL, was invited to Panama City to take part as a speaker in the Seminar "Cuba: transition or succession?" organized by Cuban Transition Proyect (CTP) from University of Miami. The event, that took place at hotel El Panamá, had the presentations of: Jaime Suchlicki, professor of History and International Studies, author of the book "Breve Historia de Cuba"; Carlos Alberto Montaner, journalist and writer, author of the book "Viaje al corazón de Cuba"; Carlos Gutiérrez, former secretary of the Department of Commerce of United States; James Cason, former Chief of Mission of the Section of Interests of US in Havanna; Andy Gómez, Adjunct Dean of the University of Miami; Orlando Gutiérrez, National Secretary of Directorio Democrático Cubano and author of the book "La República Invisible"; Brian Latell, author of the book "After Fidel: The Inside Story of Castro's Regimen and Cuba´s Next Leader"; Juan del Aguila, Professor of Political Science at Emory University and author of the book "Dilemas de la Revolución"; and José Azel, Associated Researcher of ICCAS, University of Miami.
