Globalization and Human Rights

Within the frame of the activities of Red Puente Democrático Latino Cubano, Instituto Millenium from Brazil organized at hotel Marina Palace in Río de Janeiro, the conference ''Globalizatin and Human Rights: fundamental rights in non democratic countries'' with the participation of Eduardo Viola and Gabriel Salvia as main speakers and Paulo Uebel who moderated the session.

Within the frame of the activities of Red Puente Democrático Latino CubanoInstituto Millenium from Brazil organized at hotel Marina Palace in Río de Janeiro, the conference "Globalizatin and Human Rights: fundamental rights in non democratic countries" with the participation of Eduardo Viola and Gabriel Salvia as main speakers and Paulo Uebel who moderated the session. 

Eduardo Viola is Professor at International Relations Institute of Universidad Nacional de Brasilia, Ph.D. Political Science, member of Governance Council of Instituto Millenium and member of the Academic Council of CADAL. With Héctor Leis he wrote the book “América del Sur en el mundo de las democracias de mercado”, published by CADAL and Homo Sapiens Ediciones.

Gabriel Salvia is journalist and Chairman of the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America and Director of the Project Puente Democrático.

Paulo Uebel is a lawyer and Executive Director of Instituto Millenium with headquarters in Río de Janeiro, Brazil.
