2013 Political Scene in Argentina

With the sponsorship of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the participation of political consultant Carlos Fara, CADAL organized the last meeting of this year’s Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires. In his presentation, Carlos Fara revealed the results of opinion polls on management at the national level, future prospects, topics surrounding the current situation in the country, the evaluation of public service provider companies, where CFK’s second government is heading and the 2013 parliamentary elections.

With the sponsorship of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the participation of political consultant Carlos Fara, CADAL organized the last meeting of this year’s Buenos Aires Latin-American Forum. On this opportunity, the meeting took place at the Meliá Hotel, and its topic of analysis was “The 2013 Political Scene in Argentina”.

In his presentation, Carlos Fara revealed the results of opinion polls on management at the national level, future prospects, topics surrounding the current situation in the country, the evaluation of public service provider companies, where CFK’s second government is headed and the and the 2013 parliamentary elections.

Carlos Fara specialises in Public Opinion, Electoral Campaigns, and Governmental Communication and  Marketing Strategies. He has been awarded the 2010 Aristoteles Prize for Excellence for his work during the elections in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where he formed part of the Dream Team of the year, made up of the best 10 consultants in the world in the field of political campaigning. He has also won the Golden EIKON prize for his government communication campaign (2010) for the Mar del Plata (Argentina) case. He has also co-written the Marketing and Political Communication Manual “Acciones para una Buena Comunicación” (Steps Towards Effective Communication”), published by the Adenauer Foundation in Argentina. He is president of the Latin-American Political Consultants’ Association, member of the International Political Consultants Association and of CADAL’s Advisory Council.

At the end of the Forum, drinks were offered to celebrate the end of the year. Among those present were company directors and diplomats from Poland, The Netherlands, Germany,Norway, Australia, the United States and Czech Republic.
