Debate on Classic Liberalism

CADAL, with the support of Friedrich A. von Hayek Foundation, made a presentation of the Documents, ''Cómo ser liberal clásico en América Latina y no morir en el intento'' (How to be classical liberal in Latin America without dieing in the attempt) by the philosopher Gabriel Zanotti and ''¿Qué significa ser liberal?'' (What does it mean to be a liberal?) by the writer Mario Vargas Llosa.

 

 

On July 14th, 2005, the Center for the Opening and the Development of Latin America (CADAL), with the support of Friedrich A. von Hayek Foundation, made a presentation of the Documents, "Cómo ser liberal clásico en América Latina y no morir en el intento" (How to be classical liberal in Latin America without dieing in the attempt) by the philosopher Gabriel Zanotti and "¿Qué significa ser liberal?" (What does it mean to be a liberal?) by the writer Mario Vargas Llosa. This documents were debated by one of its authors, Gabriel Zanotti, together with the historian Ricardo López Gottig and the jurist Ricardo Manuel Rojas in front of an audience eager to accept and receive the enriching visions and critics of the panelists.
